Tim is a Partner in the firm’s Alternative Markets team based in Cardiff and has over 25 years’ experience in the brewing and public house sectors providing valuation, lease consultancy, rating and asset management advice to a variety of clients.

Tim has also successfully given expert evidence before Valuation Tribunals, The Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber) and to Public Local Inquiries.

Tim represented the British Beer and Pub Association, negotiating a valuation framework for public houses in England and Wales with the Valuation Office Agency for the forthcoming 2017 Rating Revaluation and also contributes to licensed trade publications.

Corporate management of Carlsberg’s UK property assets.

Loan security valuations of more than 2,000 tenanted/leased pubs acquired by Admiral Taverns in various packages, valued in excess of £750m.

Valuation of Greene King’s securitised estate including a Tap valuation of 2,035 pubs, valued at £2.1bn.

Portfolio valuation of Whitbread’s pub/restaurant and hotel assets, valued at £3.6bn.

Valuation of the Wellpark brewery, Glasgow in connection with AB Inbev’s sale of their Scottish drinks business to C & C Group.

Periodic valuation of C & C’s UK’s drinks manufacturing assets.

Loan security valuations of 55 tenanted and leased pubs owned by Charles Wells, valued in excess of £40m on behalf of HSBC.

Valuation of Moto’s network of motorway and trunk road service areas valued in excess of £1bn for the purpose of a bond issue and refinancing.

Due diligence and valuation advice on behalf of Antin Infrastrcture Partners throughout their acquisition of Roadchef for in excess £350m.

Lease consultancy advice on a range of Whitbread’s pub restaurants and Premier Inn hotels across Wales and South West England.
