Gerald Eve has expanded its portfolio and asset management capabilities with the recruitment of three senior specialists to its London West End office.
Yvonne Smith, Angela Duru and Jennifer Cottle all join Gerald Eve as partners, having formerly been directors of property and asset management at Helix Property Advisors.

Yvonne Smith has more than 35 years’ experience in the property sector, having worked on both the fund side – rolling out investment and asset management strategies across the UK – and client side at organisations including J.P. Morgan, RNIB and two local authorities. She has spent the last eleven years at Helix advising high-profile funds, family offices and high net worth individuals.

Angela Duru is a chartered surveyor with extensive experience of property and asset management, and has worked on some of the most iconic and complex buildings in London. She has worked on behalf of significant institutional investors and advised on purchase due diligence for sites across the UK, the largest being a 200,000 sq ft office development project in central London.

Jennifer Cottle is a chartered surveyor with 15 years’ experience in property and asset management, providing strategic fund, asset and property management advice to REITS and high net worth individuals. She has spent the last five years at Helix, advising funds on all aspects of strategy and execution, and has significant experience working with distressed portfolios.

Simon Prichard, senior partner at Gerald Eve, said: “These are three significant appointments for Gerald Eve, further strengthening the firm’s property and asset management offer and demonstrating the scale of our ambition in this sector. The expertise and experience they bring with them will be hugely beneficial to both our existing and future clients.

“We are always seeking new ways to expand our capabilities and offer clients a broader range and depth of services. Senior recruitment is a vital part of this constant improvement, and we are always on the look-out for talented teams and individuals who can add to our existing strengths.”
