Gerald Eve has been named as the UK’s leading rating agent, advising on property with a combined rateable value in excess of £560 million.
Analysis of Valuation Office Agency data relating to assessments with a rateable value greater than £10 million, published by property industry news service CoStar, revealed Gerald Eve to be involved in appeals on real estate with an aggregate rateable value of £568,700,000 – nearly three times that of nearest competitor CBRE and more than the agents placed second to seventh put together.

Jerry Schurder, head of business rates at Gerald Eve, said: “Gerald Eve has long been trusted by the biggest firms to advise on the business rates liabilities of their largest and most-complex real estate assets and this league table underlines the confidence placed in the firm.”

The league table was compiled based upon all properties with a rateable value over £10 million on which at least one appeal had been made for the period 2010 onwards.
