I pride myself on delivering best in class service, enjoying working closely with clients to ensure that my advice is tailored to meet their specific requirements. I specialise in advising clients in the retail and restaurant sectors, including high street and shopping centres, prime Central London, retail parks, convenience stores and drive thru’s. 

My core expertise is providing both occupier and landlord clients with strategic advice to mitigate business rates liability and handling negotiations tactically with the Valuation Office Agency. This also includes working with our rates payment team to manage client portfolios, provide detailed liability budgets and liaise with billing authorities to realise achieved savings. 

Having gained over 6 years’ experience in the business rates sector I have in-depth knowledge of rating law and the complex rating appeals system, which I draw on to consistently achieve excellent results via written and oral negotiations. 

I have varied experience of representing clients at Valuation Tribunal and am able to fully guide my clients through the process. I will provide detailed recommendations if the desired result is not secured through negotiations, including evaluating the benefits and risks of pursuing an appeal.   

I am a member of the RICS and Rating Surveyors Association and committed to staying abreast of current issues in the market with other leading individuals in the sector.
