Gerald Eve has been ranked 48th in The Sunday Times’ 100 Best Companies To Work For report, the only property consultancy to feature in the annual league table.

As part of the judging process, the firm has been awarded a two-star ‘outstanding’ accreditation, with employees singling out Gerald Eve’s proactivity, commitment to personal development and wellbeing and the approachability of senior management as being key contributing factors behind the high rating.

This is the first year Gerald Eve has entered the survey since 2012 – when the firm was ranked 51st and appeared in the list for a seventh consecutive year – with the improved placing illustrative of the staff welfare policies and initiatives put in place during the intervening period.

Simon Rees, managing partner at Gerald Eve, said: “Sunday Times 100 Best Companies To Work For is the UK’s most prestigious survey of its kind. We are extremely pleased not only to be ranked so well but also to be the only property consultancy to feature.

“Gerald Eve is very much at the forefront of initiatives designed to improve the workplace for its employees and create a structure under which people can develop their true potential. This ranking is a vindication of the hard work that has been undertaken to date and a result we are incredibly very proud of.”

Sarah Draper, HR director at Gerald Eve, said: “We are delighted to appear in the 100 Best Companies To Work For. 93% of our employees reported they were proud to work for the firm, a result which is testament to the firm’s continued commitment to creating a supportive environment and culture that works for both individuals and the firm as a whole.”
