Sarah is an Associate in our Building Consultancy department based in our West End office. She has acted on behalf of Marcol, LaSalle, Essence Digital (WPP), Blackstone, Aviva Investors, Canada Life, Legal and General, RBS, Christ’s Hospital Foundation, the Environment Agency and the MOD.

Technical Due Diligence for Pizza Express. Undertook a pre-acquisition survey of a Mews building near Goodge Street.

Reinstatement Cost Assessments for Christ’s Hospital Foundation. Managed a portfolio of RCA’s.

Licence to Alter works in 30 St Mary’s Axe on behalf of Swiss Re for

Technical Due Diligence for LaSalle Investment Management. Undertook a pre-acquisition survey of a Hotel in Southwark including an RCA.

Assistant Project Manager for Essence Digital (WPP) including monitoring of landlord’s works to lightwells. CAT B refurbishment of circa 30,000 sq ft including reconfiguration of the layout and services. Value circa £850,000.

Reinstatement Cost Assessments for LaSalle Investment Management. Managed a small portfolio of three RCA’s on student accommodation blocks. Ensured the tight deadline was achieved.

Schedules of Dilapidations produced for Blackstone, Clerville Investment Management, Marcol and Aviva Investors.

Dilapidations negotiations on behalf of a private landlord. Original claim was circa £85,000 and negotiated a settlement of circa £50,000.

Technical Due Diligence for Canada Life. Managed a portfolio of re-finance surveys on 28 properties. Managed the client and coordinated the surveyors and engineers from various offices to ensure the deadline was achieved. Also undertook two of the due diligence surveys personally. Fee circa £74,000.

Technical Due Diligence and Monitoring for Canada Life. Managed a portfolio of re-finance surveys and monitoring advice for the client on new build apartments being developed for Dolphin Living. Fee circa £27,000.

Expert Witness on behalf of a private landlord. Instruction involved a dilapidations claim of circa £2 million, involving approximately 30 acres of hardstandings in Sandwich, Kent.

Dilapidations negotiation on behalf of RBS. Negotiating a settlement of circa £500,000 served on RBS under a repairs notice.

Contract Administration for RBS. Managing separation works between the bank branch and the offices above. Value circa £90,000.

Feasibility Study for Enfield Borough Council. Considering various options on a Grade II listed library including redeveloping into a leisure facility.
